Indian Embassy issues advisory for medical students pursuing in China


The Indian Embassy in Beijing has asked the concerned students and their parents to refer to earlier advisories regarding the issue after learning that Indian medical students studying in China have questions about their ability to appear in the qualifying examination held by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Any student who enrols in the clinical medicine programme in China after November 2021 and fails to receive a licence to practise medicine in China will be disqualified from taking the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination, according to the statement.
