The never-ending game of musical chairs within the world of fashion remains in full swing. This month alone, Donatella Versace has bowed out at Versace with Dario Vitale succeeding the iconic Italian designer. Demna has since left Balenciaga for Gucci and Jonathan Anderson has departed Loewe. To no one’s amazement, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez have succeeded Anderson as Loewe creative directors (a rumor that has been circulating for months). The announcement comes after the design duo stepped down from Proenza Schouler back in January, a label they founded together in 2002. “We are incredibly honored to join Loewe, a House whose values and mission align closely with our own. We look forward to working alongside its extraordinary teams and artisans,” said the pair in a statement.
