To begin with, clean, wash, and soak the moong dal in water for 2 hours.

Now drain the water and grind moong dal in 1/2 cup water to make a smooth batter.

Now put the batter into a large mixing bowl and add all the remaining ingredients along with 1/4 cup water. Mix them well.

Heat a skillet and grease it with little oil. Pour a scoopful of batter on it and spread it in a circular motion.

Now smear a little oil over it and along the edges and cook on medium flame till the cheela turns golden brown.

Flip and cook on the other side as well.

Once done, remove from the pan and repeat the steps…
