Preparation
Cut the chicken breast into bite size pieces.
Slice the onion and chop the tomatoes. Chop the spinach as well.
For cashews paste, soak the cashews in warm water for 15 minutes and blend with the water to get a smooth paste.
Cooking on the stovetop
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and black cardamom. Stir it for 10 seconds.
Add onions and cook until they caramelize and turn golden brown.
Now add chopped tomatoes, ginger-garlic paste, cashew paste, powdered spices, and salt. Saute for 8-10 minutes on low to medium heat or until the masala is thick.
