The new permanent campus of the institute will have green features with maximum utilization of renewable energy.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to lay the foundation stone for the permanent campus of IIM Sambalpur in Odisha through virtual mode on January 2, 2021, as per the officals.
The work on the campus will be accomplished in April 2022 and will be a fully equipped state-of-art structure with energy efficient green features based on the GRIHA’ standards, said Prof Mahadeo Jaiswal, Director, IIM Sambalpur.
The new permanent campus of the institute will have green features with maximum utilization of renewable energy. The heritage and art of Odisha will also be depicted in the building design, Prof Jaiswal further added.
