This year celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Queensland Hotels Association Awards for Excellence, a gala event that celebrates the ‘cream of the crop’ of Queensland’s hospitality industry. Showcasing the sunshine state’s best, the recently held QHA awards named The Star Gold Coast as Queensland’s most luxurious and prestigious place to stay and dine, hand picking The Star for two of the top awards.
The Star Gold Coast took out the award for Best Deluxe Accommodation while the onsite Japanese restaurant Kiyomi was awarded Best Prestige Restaurant. Having previously been known as Jupiter’s Hotel & Casino, the Gold Coast accommodation and entertainment megaplex began a transformation and revitalisation project that saw it rebranded as The Star. As the awards pile up, it suggests that the Gold Coast casino is back and better than ever.
