Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday declared his total assets amounting to Rs 3.02 crore in his poll affidavit. This affidavit comes as a part of a mandatory submission required for contesting elections in India.
The Prime Minister’s assets encompass both movable and immovable properties, along with investments. In comparison to his declarations in 2019 and 2014, PM Modi‘s assets have shown an increase. In 2019, he declared assets worth Rs 2.51 crore, while in 2014, it was Rs 1.66 crore, as per the data reported by Association for Democratic Reform. PM Modi’s investments include gold worth Rs 2.67 lakh, held in the form of four gold rings. Additionally, he has invested Rs 9.12 lakh in National Savings Certificates. Moreover, the Prime Minister holds 2.85 crore in bank fixed deposits (FDs), as per the affidavit.
