The BJP plans to take out five separate yatras in each zone of West Bengal during February and March, which are aimed to cover all the 294 assembly constituencies in a month. While Nadda and Shah will roll out three of these yatras, other BJP leaders could visit the state to launch the others.
The party unit has been keen on leaders like UP CM Yogi Adityanath to come and build momentum for the party in the state. The party’s national secretary, who is also handling the state, Arvind Menon, responsible for many of BJP’s rath yatras, is in charge of the programme.
