Xiaomi will launch the first Redmi smart TV on March 17 in India. Ahead of its official unveil, Xiaomi has started teasing some key features of the upcoming Redmi TV that the company says offers the “XL Experience”. Moreover, since this will be the first television under the Redmi brand, Xiaomi has also revealed the new Redmi remote.
Manu Kumar Jain, MD at Xiaomi India took to Twitter and revealed that the upcoming Redmi smart TV has Dolby Vision support and is HDR10+ ready. Additionally, the TV has a dedicated picture engine that will optimize the overall visual experience of watching your favourite movies or TV shows.
Xiaomi’s Redmi India Twitter handle has also posted a picture of the new Redmi remote that will be bundled along with the new Redmi smart TV. The remote is similar to the ones Xiaomi provides with its Mi range of smart TVs.
