New Delhi: Private and public banks across several states in the country will remain closed for as many as five days this week as the festive season in India continues this month. This week, the banks across the country are set to remain closed in view of Chhath Puja and other festivities.
Banks will remain closed in Bihar, Jharkhand due to Chhath Puja. Banks will remain closed on November 10 in Patna and Ranchi. At the same time, on November 11, there will be a holiday for bank workers in Patna due to Chhath Puja. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the Delhi government have given a public holiday on November 10 i.e. tomorrow due to Chhath Puja. Chhath Puja is celebrated very much in Bihar, Jharkhand. Therefore, all banks in Patna and Ranchi will remain closed on November 10.
