Who goes stargazing around the summer solstice? The nights are short and for mid-northern latitudes it doesn’t really get dark until after midnight, and then only for a few hours.
Don’t stop stargazing! The just-past-full “Strawberry Moon” will be rising later at night this weekend, topping-off a stargazing session that can include some of the best sights of summer—and some fleeting views of planets that just happen to be going on right now.
