Chaos as military aircraft smashes into home

Shocking footage shows black smoke billowing from a home that was hit by a military aircraft in Las Vegas overnight.

Emergency services rushed to the scene after receiving reports that an aircraft — associated with the nearby Nellis Air Force Base — had crashed.

Horrified onlookers saw black smoke pouring from the site.

The homeowner told the Las Vegas Review-Journal, “It was scary to be honest with you. It was a really, really, really, really strong noise.”

He said no one in his home was injured and described the plane crashing into the yard of his home and the house next door, which he said belongs to his uncle.

In a tweet, Nellis Air Force Base confirmed the crash, noting only that the aircrash was “associated with Nellis Air Force Base”.

“We will provide updates as they become available,” the tweet read.
