An online petition is demanding Jeff Bezos purchase and eat Leonardo da Vinci’s iconic masterpiece.

Days after Jeff Bezos announced he would travel into space, a change.org petition is calling on one of the world’s richest people to do something that would change the course of culture and civilization forever: buy and eat the Mona Lisa.
The petition, which has over 5,000 signatures, doesn’t offer much in terms of specifics, saying only: “Nobody has eaten the mona lisa and we feel jeff bezos needs to take a stand and make this happen.” A change.org user named Kane Powell created the petition about a year ago, but it began gaining traction within the last couple days.
