How Brands Can Close The Wellness Gap

The global wellness industry is worth $4.5 trillion, and it’s growing at double the speed of the global economy. It’s no longer simply about spas, yoga and detox diets. As this sector expands, we’re seeing it affect other industries, from real estate to automotive and financial services.

According to Ogilvy’s recent Wellness Gap study, 77% of the global consumers surveyed consider wellness to be very or extremely important. What’s more, 73% consider wellness to be an essential element of a brand’s mission.

However, only 46% of survey respondents feel that brands prioritize consumers’ wellness, and 75% said that brands could make more of an effort when it comes to their wellness.
